The boys at Hyosung seem to grasp it, they are continuously producing subtle changes and upgraded to their bikes year after year. Better Styling, lowered handle bars, an upgraded exhaust, and most importantly fuel injection are all new features for the GV250 this year.
As we saw with their GT250R sport bike, Hyosung is starting to throw the out-of-date custom of carburetion and provide fuel injection on their entry-level motorcycles. Merging a traditional 249cc v-twin design with current fuel injection makes for a fantastic coupling. This 250cc cruiser will perform at a high level time and again with a best in group 10.3:1 compression ration. The GV250 is a clear bang for the buck winner, even though like most Hyosung creations lack the after market support is still deficient..
2010 Suzuki GZ250 (msrp $3,999)
The GZ series from Suzuki has been manufactured since 1998 and have constantly been wonderful entry-level motorcycles.You simply can’t fault a GZ250 buy, it’s low with a 27.8 inch seat level, light at 331 lbs., simple in construction, and has hands down the best fuel economy in its group at 82mpg.
At initial look the Suzuki seems like the vast majority other 250cc cruisers, however look strictly and you’ll notice this bike only packs one cylinder. That’s accurate no parallel or v-twin here, just a good old fashioned 249cc single. Carbureted and ran at a modest 9.0:1 compression the GZ250 isn’t?t the most modern of motorcycles; however with less moving parts to fracture this Suzuki is a reliability monster.
