I have a hole in my exhaus pipe under my car, and latel when i try to accelerate from a stop my engine will…?

not rev up and my car will not accelerate. could this be related with the hole in my exhaust or is this a separate problem.

check the throttle body, may be that the cable coming from the pedal needs adjustment
