Trading my 07 Kawasaki Nomad in for 06 Honda CBR 600RR, tell me what you think.?
I am thinking about trading in my 07 Kawi Nomad for 06 Honad CBR 600rr.
Well, at the time I bought Nomad, I thought I would ride on highway a lot, but I am pretty much riding in-town, and I start to think over about keeping this big tourer.
Anyway, the problem is, give or take a few dollars, I would be losing about $2000 in the trade-off. May be $1500, if lucky. I have even bought an extended warranty for my Nomad, but it will be not transferable to CBR.
Anyway, what do you think about this?
Ride the 600, you won’t care about the Nomad no more, I doubt you would even need the warranty on the cbr, they rarely have problems, I rode my mates cbr600rr new back in ’06 and it was so flickable and steered so sweetly, it is a confidence inspiring machine and I doubt you will ever look back, The last bike I sold I bought for 20k on road (’06 cbr1000rr) and spent another 4k on it and sold it for 15k, It was only a year old but that’s how it goes when you buy new, at least you know now and seeing as the cbr is second hand you shouldn’t lose as much on that when you sell it (fingers crossed).
