Why has my 1996 Kawaski Vulcan 1500 Classic suddenly stop starting?
Within the last week I have had trouble starting my 1996 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 Classic. It begin just clicking when I pushed the starter button but would start after 4 or 5 tries. But now it won’t start at all just a click, the battery is fully charged. Do you know what the problem is?
The click is your starter relay/solenoid I believe, so you’re getting power there. Get a multimeter and test for continuity between the secondary side of the solenoid and the starter motor. Hopefully you have some kind of service manual or wiring diagram
Or to find out if your solenoid has gone bad try taking a screwdriver and jumping the two points on top of it, if the bike starts to crank then you need a new solenoid.
