is it good for a brand new vehicle to just be parked and only be driven once a week to keep mileage down?
Technically it is not good to have a car sitting around due to mechanical flaws that will not be seen unless you drive the car while it is still under warranty. As long as you start it up and drive it for a while it will make it to where the fluids will not gum up as much. However you might have to do an oil change sooner than normal as well as probably have to put fuel additives in the car so that it will not collect deposits in the gas tank but then again if it's a new car it will not do that as fast. Bottom line is that it's never good to let a vehicle sit, always fire it up to clear out th gunk.
