How do I get rid of dark arm pit stains on my t-shirts?
I live in t shirts and have these dark yellow-orangish pit stains on all my white t shirts. It’s embarrassing and my guy friends always make me raise my arms so they can laugh at my pit stains.
I would change my underarm deodorant from the kind that swears to go on clear, it messes up your clothes, try the natural Tom’s brand.
Also if you do not use Clorox bleach already try that with Tide and concentrate on the stain by pretreating them as soon as you put them in the dirty clothes hamper.
I had the same problem with my deodorant and I read that putting hydrogen peroxide on the yellow stain will remove it.
I have a book I purchased from the grocery store “188 Ingenious Uses for Vinegar” and on page 26 it says:
Underarm stains: For perspiration and deodorant stains on shirts and other garments pour a little undiluted vinegar on the stain and gently rub it into the fabric before laundering.
Now you have three solutions so that you friends will no longer laught at you. Best remedy is to do this when the shirt is new and the stain is new too. Old stains may have set to long.
