Rubber and plastic mouth piece for saxophone?
I’m planning on getting a rubber mouth piece for a substitution for my original plastic mouth piece for the saxophone but I don’t know the difference, besides that one is rubber and the other is plastic. Is there a richer sound quality or something? I don’t plan on getting a metal mouth piece because metal could poison you.
“metal” can poison you? Quickly!! Throw away all your silverware.
Listen, I had a really hard time ever getting in tune with my tenor sax after changing to a rubber mouth piece (plastic chipped and kind of broke).
It sucks, because mouthpieces are (were) kind of expensive and you can’t really try them out, to see what sounds good. I never played the same after I got rid of my plastic mouth piece.
