What is the connection between Pretty Little Liars and To Kill A Mockingbird?
In the television series Pretty Little Liars we see the girls with the novel To Kill A Mockingbird many times (they are reading it in their English class). I wanted to know the connection from the book to the show. And I know there is some type of connection, lol. The book is some kind of metaphor or symbol. For example, is there a character in the show the is similar to that of the book or something like that.
P.S. I’ve read the book before so no need to summarize the story! 
In the book To Kill A Mockingbirrd, Atticus Finch (the main character’s father, it’s told from the point of view of his child, Scout) gives his son, Jem, a gun and tells him that he can shoot some small animals, but not the mockingbird. Mockingbirds don’t bother us, they sing. In the book, the character Boo Radley, who is in the beginning depicted as scary and evil, is a mockingbird (metaphorically). In Pretty Little Liars, there are also “mockingbrids”. For example, Jenna Cavanaugh is a mockingbird in the series.
