how to put new hand grips on my 2006 harley softal?
take off your switch housings around both the grips ( the throttle side might be a little tricky if you’ve never done this before) if your grips are factory rubber just get a knife and cut them lengthwise and throw away. Clean your bars really good where the grips go, spray the inside of them with some aqua net hair spray ( stuff gets sticky as hell when it starts to dry) and put switch housings back on. NOW, the throttle cables need to be loosend and so forth, buy a manual and learn from it how to do the steps on the throttle side if you’re not familiar with it. Hope this has helped some.
