A lot of men today, no matter how ignorant, has definitely heard of the pick up artists. The pick-up artists and dating gurus of today are under the spotlight of the mainstream media, all thanks to their bestselling books, films, and appearances in well-known television shows.
This is a little primer to introduce you to the most popular, most well known and best online dating coaches. We’ve pigeonholed the rankings based on who among the gurus have the most media attention, this list does not entail that these names are the only gurus worth mentioning. It just means that the list is progressively arranged from 1 to 8 with 1 garnering the most attention from the media.
1. Neil Strauss Pick Up Artist (AKA Style from Stylelife). Neil Strauss was an already noteworthy rock scene and New York Times writer when he wrote “The Game: Penetrating the Secret Society of Pick Up Artists” which become a huge bestseller and created a large following of students and a frenzy in the media with Strauss appearing widely in the press and TV talk shows. Style never stops sharing his knowledge through his dating company “Stylelife”.
2. Mystery (AKA Mystery from Venusian Arts). Erik von Markovik is credited to the invention of numerous technologies regarding pick-up artistry. For several years, he stood as the instructor of Neil Strauss (who later penned his own book after improving his skills). He is renowned for his other name Mystery. He gained much fame and soon was starred in his own show in VH1 “The Pick Up Artist”. The show was approved to screen its second season as well. Mystery Bio has been widely featured in the press also, and continues to teach through his dating company “Venusian Arts”.
3. Eben Pegan. David DeAngelo of Double Your Dating has the most prominent business in the dating industry as compared to his fellow dating coaches. Ever since the launch of his first book “Double Your Dating eBook” in 2001, he has compiled an impressive collection of dating products and seminars; all of which are geared to support lads in honing their dating skills. He came up with the name “Double Your Dating” for his dating company.
4. Owen Cook (A.K.A Tyler Durden/TD). Owen Cook was first brought up by Neil Strauss while writing “The Game”. He was one of the primary founders and developers of dating advice into the profitable commercial market it is today. He is renowned for his perfectionist, and detailed analysis of what works and doesn’t. He and his girlfriend are currently enjoying life together with their son. This takes him at par with other mature dating gurus who enjoy their long-term relationships.
5.David Wygant When the movie “Hitch” starring Will Smith was released, many experts in the dating community associated the role to being based on David’s career as a dating coach, as he is one of the dating gurus considered to be the founders. David Wygant’s advice has a one of a kind and no-holds-barred style.
6. Nick (A.K.A Savoy). Nick Savoy first made his mark on the pick-up community together with Mystery when they started “Mystery Method Corporation”. The corporation was their starting point on teaching dating advice. It was included in the companies who first thought of the ‘dating bootcamp’ concept. This concept places men on a real life setting and teaches them how to approach and meet women by experiencing it themselves. He and Mystery went in two different directions and soon, each founded his own company. Presently, Love Systems is being managed by Nick Savoy; working as Program Director and CEO. Today Love Systems is the largest dating company in terms of number of coaches and global reach.
7. Daniel Rose (from Sex God Method). Daniel Rose gained much popularity among the media within the past few years for his products and teachings regarding sexual skill improvement. He named his company “Sex God Method”, by which he releases videos, online training programs, and books mainly to teach men how to improve their sexual potential and make sex a more powerful experience for them and their female partners.
8. Vin DiCarlo. Vin DiCarlo joined the dating guru scene several years ago. His advice focused on the use of confidence, ‘inner game’, and mindsets. This differentiated him from his fellow dating coaches. In only a short time, he has become very famous. This is probably due to his hard-work in marketing and distributing his writing.
