My bike stalls when I come to a stop, or if I rev real high and pull the clutch (letting it fall to a stall)?

My bike is a Vstrom with 760 miles on it (almost new!) I just got the throttle bodies synced and the 500 mile service. I took it back to the shop and they said “it must be something you did- we’ve never heard of that before” and they want to charge me to diagnose it. I’m a little short on cash since I just payed $3XX for the initial service, and just bought the bike outright.

Anyone know what it could be? I searched and found some answers but they all say its the carbs… this is a fuel injected bike.

Any idea what it could be?

In addition, it idles fine, starts fine, drives fine… its just when coming to a stop/pulling the clutch.

It is a little difficult to get an idea of what’s happening but it sounds like you’re letting the clutch out while stopped. If so, it is supposed to stall.

If you aren’t moving, you have to hold the clutch in until you’re ready to move again. Or put it in neutral.

Rev real high then pull in the clutch? Do you mean when you coast? Build up speed then pull in the clutch to coast? It shouldn’t be shutting off then.

Have you done any work on your own? If not, they jacked something up doing the 500 mile service.

Make them agree to a refund if they find it was something they did.
